The Great Steak With Compound Butter
The steak dishes are always all-time favorite. The total time taken to cook this dish is thirty minutes. There are not many ingredients, four boneless beef strips of approximately one and a half-inch thick, special kosher salt to taste, black pepper to taste and of course two table-spoon of compound butter. This will have a yield of four portions.
Now the making part, take the steaks out of the freezer and let the temperature become same as that of room temperature. If there is any extra fat, remove it. Preheat the medium you are using like a grill pan, grill or broiler. Brush the strips with a bit of oil and marinate them with kosher salt. Place the steaks on the grill or on whatever you are using but don’t be in a hurry and over crowd them. Cook the steaks for about three-four minutes, and this depends on the temperature of the medium you are using and the thickness of the steaks. Flip it and let the other side cook for three-four minutes. The method to make sure that they are cooked is pressing one’s thumb in the center. If the steak is cooked, then it will spring back and if not the skin will be firm. When they are done, remove them from heat, and let them rest for five minutes and also cover them.
Now use your creativity and plate the steaks with a generous spoon of compound butter and serve hot!!!
