Eating like a caveman doesn’t mean that you should not have any desserts. Whether you are looking for something sweet or savory, you should try these Paleo diet desserts from


1. One-Ingredient Sorbet


12 fresh strawberries – chopped

5 bananas – peeled and chopped


Method: Place bananas and strawberries in separate containers and freeze them for at least two hours. Place the fruits in a blender or food processor until the consistency is smooth. You can also use other fruits if you want to.  


2. Watermelon Soup


4 cups watermelon – seeded and cubed

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon fresh mint – chopped


Method: Blend the lemon juice, honey, mint, and watermelon in a food processor or blender until the mixture is smooth. Chill for two hours before serving.


3. Coconut Date Bars


1/3 cup slivered almonds

1/2 cup coconut – flaked

10 pitted dates – amount depends on your preference

1/4 cup cashews – amount also depends on your preference

1 teaspoon coconut oil


Method: Blend coconut and almonds in a food processor. Add dates and pulse until all ingredients are combined. Add coconut oil and cashews. Pulse until you get a thick mixture. You know the mixture is ready when the ingredients stick together. Pour the mixture onto a sheet of waxed paper and form it into a square by folding the sides of the paper. Refrigerate the bars for at least 30 minutes. Cut into 2 inch squares.


4. Fruity Fun Skewers


5 strawberries – halved

1/4 cantaloupe – cubed or formed into balls

2 bananas – peeled and sliced into bite-sized chunks

1 apple – cut into bite-sized chunks

20 skewers


Method: Thread the fruits onto the skewers. Make sure you place at least two pieces of each fruit on a skewer. Arrange the skewers on a platter and serve.
